If you are a new patient, regardless of your age, we feel it’s important to examine the alignment of your teeth to see if they are in need of orthodontic correction. Crowded or misaligned teeth can be a breeding ground for plaque and tartar to build up in hard-to-reach places. Since our goal is to give you the best oral health, we are happy to provide an Invisalign consultation, or provide referrals to an orthodontic professional should you require more extensive work.
Laser Hygiene Services
Laser Bacterial Reduction (LBR)
Our office now carries the latest laser technology to decontaminate your gums with LBR, which significantly lowers the amount of bacteria in your mouth. LBR treatment is a painless, low-cost and highly effective choice for treating symptoms like bad breath and bleeding, all while improving your overall oral health.
Canker Sore / Fever Blister Treatment
Laser treatment is also very effective on canker sores and fever blisters. We can even eliminate the sore from even developing if it has not broken out yet. Notify us if you feel any soreness or sensitivity in your cheeks and we may be able to eliminate a sore or blister before it appears using laser treatment.
The process is quick and virtually painless, and profound relief is immediate. Ask us if you are a candidate for LBR during your next dental exam.
Diagnodent (Laser Cavity Diagnosis)
Diagnodent is an alternate laser that we use to detect cavities before they can be seen on an x-ray. This is a great way for early detection of cavities so as to avoid fillings or other more extensive procedures.
A dental sealant is a type of tooth-colored acrylic coating that is painted on the tooth to prevent any cavities. It effectively seals the grooves in teeth, acting as a barrier between the enamel and any potential plaque or acids that can and cause cavities.
Children and adults can benefit from sealants in the fight against tooth decay.
In-Office: We offer prescription-strength fluoride in the form of an oral rinse during your semiannual cleanings to help prevent dental decay.
Take Home Gel: A prescription fluoride is offered to be brushed on at home daily for patients who might have a higher decay rate than average. It can also be used for patients with some types of sensitivity.
Take Home Trays: Take-home trays are custom made to hold prescription fluoride. Fluoride trays are for patients with extensive dental decay, dry mouth and/or some medical conditions that can increase your chance of dental disease.
